What is a boycott?
A boycott means refusing to buy from, support, or take part in something in order to put pressure on a company.How to boycott?
We should temporarily stop buying albums and merchandise, subscribing to paid fan platforms, streaming music and videos, and engaging with the company’s posts. This will force HYBE/BELIFT to listen to us through financial pressure. This does not affect the members, as Enhypen’s pay is guaranteed by their contract.Aim of the boycott?
This boycott is not against any of the members; instead, it is meant to protect all seven of them. The company has been mistreating and mismanaging them for years, and none of the members are acknowledged as human beings in the eyes of the company. This will continue if we do not put an end to it.
We already know their motive: money. This is why a boycott is effective—they want money, and we are the customers, so we have the upper hand. We are both making them lose money and damaging their brand value.
With this boycott, we are telling the company that they cannot treat the members this way or remove Heeseung as they wish. If they do not change their ways, we will stop supporting them financially. Our message is clear. Only through a boycott can we bring Heeseung back to Enhypen and ensure better treatment & management for all seven members.

An another reason why boycott is so critic for us right now specifically is that the Shareholders' meeting has been started on 21th March and will end on 31th March. Heeseung's departure and the meeting's notice was at the same day, 10th March. This all show us that they are testing this new project through separating Heeseung from Enhypen to see if they can gain money after this crucial change. They are testing our reactions and the most important data for them is the money they make. That is exactly why we need to boycott to show them we will not accept this.

The things I've included here are just a few of the treatments they've recived so far. Since I-LAND, they've only worked without rest. Even the I-LAND period was very difficult for them, both mentally and physically. NI-KI couldn't see his family for years due to their demanding schedule. And he was always alone because of some programs he couldn't attend with the other members. We tried to prevent this a few times, but we couldn't unite, and ENHYPEN continued to be exploited like this, but now we have to put an end to it. HEESEUNG worked very hard for this group and was very happy to continue on his path with ENHYPEN. No matter how much bad treatment they faced, they were always together. But now Heeseung is separated from his members, but all of them are still subjected to this mistreatment and enslaving. This isn't just for ENHYPEN; it's for all the groups under HYBE who are forced to this absolutely inhumane conditions.

HEESEUNG’s Departure and Every Question Mark in ItOn March 10, Belift released a notice on Weverse announcing Heeseung’s departure from the group. After about 10 minutes, Heeseung posted a handwritten letter, talking about how he didn’t want his “greed” to come above the team so he listened to company’s decision and went solo.
This was very unexpected for us Engenes, as Heeseung was talking about concerts and touring with Enhypen literally just a few days before the statement. More so, there are plenty of recent moments of him and members talking about how they will continue to be together for much longer, even talking about their 10th anniversary which is 4 years later.
After a few articles Belift has sent to the media, they had made it clear that Heeseung’s departure from the group was because of Enhypen’s extremely demanding schedule that couldn’t even fit a few weeks long of solo activities for a member. Besides that, they haven’t let Heeseung talk about to situation freely, nor did they let him have at least one goodbye concert and an official closure, if this was really his own decision.
Heeseung has always been open about artistic freedom, about how he wants to grow both as Enhypen’s Heeseung and on his own. He advocated not only for his but also for members’ artistic freedom, and has always been very hands-on about the team’s music. He has been preparing a mixtape for almost two years now, he talked about it with fans multiple times, always seemed very excited about it and mind you, all this happened while he was still pretty much active and present in the group activities. He even released a song called “Dial Tragedy”, which was written and produced by him. If the company let him and gave him some time off, maybe a hiatus, from the group activities, maybe he would’ve already released his mixtape while still continuing as a member of Enhypen.Belift has stated that Heeseung has “a distinct artistic vision” as one of their reasons for his departure. Which should only make it more clear that they do not want nor allow any of the members to grow individually as artists and only want them to do what the company asks them. They are directly giving the message that any member that decides to work on music on his own and find an individuality as an artist, he will be experiencing the same thing Heeseung has.
There has been multiple examples in this company where a member released a solo that is completely different from their group’s general concept; Yeonjun from TXT can be one example that comes to mind. Therefore, “distinct artistic vision” should not be a reason to take him out of his group; rather, every member should be able to find their own artistic identity, not only for their own career but also for group’s benefit, as it would create a more artistically diverse environment.So, to conclude this chapter we would like to make it clear that allowing Heeseung to present his solo work within the group is neither a privilege nor a favor; it is a natural reflection of his talent, effort, and artistic identity. A stage where his voice can be heard more clearly and where he can express himself more freely would not only enhance his own well-being but also create a more meaningful experience for his fans. Making his desire to explore himself as an artist should not come with the price of him being ripped from his group that he so many times mentioned that he wants to be together.

Belift announced HEESEUNG's departure from the group, stating that they respect his wishes as an artist.

Realizing the pressure from the fans, BELIFT published another article. However, this time, the company's thoughts and plans were prioritized over HEESEUNG's requests. Admitting to overworking ENHYPEN.

The article also contained sentences that appeared to have been written hastily with the aim of attracting fans.

Even though this whole movement is for 7 of them and we want better treatment & management for all of them, it is still a fact that this all started with HEESEUNG's removal from ENHYPEN. Company doesn't acknowledge them as humans and do whatever it wants and HEESEUNG getting kicked out is outcome of this actions. The 6 remaining members will never get their rights if HEESEUNG doesn't come back because the company will realize they can go on with this abuse if they get money and continue to use them. To solve this we need to adress the ongoing issue, that is why using HEESEUNG's name in the hashtags is very essential.

Yes he did, all of them did, but he also wanted to be part of ENHYPEN while releasing his own songs.

BELIFT LAB CEO only spoke about illit when he started receiving hate himself, but even in that statement, he was only trying to clear the company's name, as if what the girls were feeling was perfectly normal.

"Of course, the members suffered from it. But in the beginning, because they did not want to burden the company, they said that they were fine, then dealt with the stress all on their own. ...I think they were afraid to go on stage after that. But now, I think that they've become more resilient. If they can get through these trials, they will grow as artists. They've matured. They've matured so much that I feel sorry for what they had to go through

On August 6, 2023, a relationship scandal involving JOSHUA surfaced, and he received all kinds of hate, including death threats, but HYBE chose to remain silent about it, despite trucks being sent to the company building.

After that, the person who was allegedly in a relationship with JOSHUA posted a story, further escalating the situation. But since the company remained silent again, Joshua simply deleted his Instagram posts.

A year later, HYBE documents were released, stating that JOSHUA was actually supposed to be kicked out of the group because of that scandal, but they didn't do it due to his bandmate's psychological issues at that time.
